T.R.O.T. (Together Riding Onto Triumph) is our  Youth Group.  Our youth president is
student rider pictured above, Jordan Inman.  Jordan brings her enthusiasm for the
American  Saddlebred to this open club for all FF riders 20 years of age and under.
T.R.O.T. will have their next meeting at the barn soon so check back for dates and times.
Foster Farm riders will be attending the Linda Freseth Clinic on February 4th and 5th in
Conroe, Tx. This is a great opportunity for our riders to get input from one of the best
instructors in the country.

Foster Farm will be hosting the "2012 Tune-Up" show on February 18, 2012 at Park Lane
Equestrian Center in Dallas. Classes will include everything from Walk and Trot  to a Pro-Am
class. We look forward to hosting this show for all interested barns.  Contact Nicole or visit the

Foster Farm riders met with Dale Becker of Becker Brothers to have everyone fitted for this
year's show clothes. Many of the farm's show and potential show riders were fitted and new
show clothes should be arriving soon!

Congratulations to Loren Raines on her new horse, GOSPEL SONG (aka Diddy).  Diddy and
Loren will be headed to the show ring for the 2012 season!

Our last show of the 2011 Season was held in Katy, Texas.  We had several new combinations
and a few first timers hit the ring.   Highlights included blue ribbon rides from Nicole on
Honey and Bryn on Chill.  Reserve Champion ribbons belonged to Peyton and Jerry.  Chloe
and  Whitney both rode Prada and had a great first show and earning a ribbon in the process!
Ashley and Lydia rode Dale and each made good rides and earned some nice ribbons
including a reserve and third.

Congratulations to our National Champion Exceptional Challenge Cup Rider, Sierra
Sarmiento!  Sierra rode her beloved Scotty to the National title at the American Royal Horse
Show.  Katie Palmer rode her CH Callaway's Blue Agate to their second consecutive National
Top Ten.  This pair was ranked 7th overall in the competitive Walk and Trot Division!
